I got some cool friends. Sometimes when I watch American Idol I wonder how those horrible singers made it that far!?! Are their friends and family just teasing them and saying “you’re awesome! you should try out for American Idol!”? I used to live with my brother and he was always the first to hear a new song. I would play it for him moments after I wrote it and if it wasn’t as good as I thought he would say “it’s not as good as you think”. That kind of honesty made the compliments way more meaningful. Besides the people who would be in the bars even if there wasn’t a dude playing music, I got some friends who show up just about every time to support me. When I see people wearing one of my shirts or I hear my songs coming from the CD player in their car that makes me want to keep going. I hope sometime soon all the support pays off for myself and my friends. I guess what I’m trying to say is, thanks for all the support!

Been pretty busy lately with all kinds of projects. Dawn Miceli and I had our first real practice for our Neil Diamond cover band and it was awesome! N3RD M0M3NT with Drew Domkus has been going pretty strong too and I’m anxious to see where we can take it. As far as the local scene, I’m back at Games on June 1st for Monday Night Music Therapy with paulblann.com and friends. If you can make it there it’s always a crazy time… Later Gators!

Relaxing my brain a little today. I think Drew and I are gonna go on a KILLING SPREE and get rid of some of these animals! We finally updated SmittenBayou.com and all our music should be on iTunes soon! That’s all I have to say about that ;)

My brain is overheating from all the html! It’s almost perfect weather right now so I’m going outside. I’m heading over by Dawn and Drew’s for dinner and to record some new N3RD M0M3NT episodes. Make sure to check that out.

I’m pretty lazy when it comes to life and lately that’s been a HUGE problem! I have several music projects and internet projects that I’ve been trying to keep up on and just can’t find the time to do it. For now, I think paulblann.com is just gonna be my blog. I’ll try updating it everyday. The last thing I worked on is a podcast called N3RD M0M3NT with Drew Domkus, it’s been getting some really good feedback. Check it out!
